My Absolute Favoritest Song in the World

Everlasting God
Lincoln Brewster
From the album Let The Praises Ring - Best Of Lincoln Brewster

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord

Our God You reign forever
Our Hope our strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God

You do not faint You won't grow weary
You're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
The everlasting God
The everlasting

Do I Have Time For a Nap?

According to the calendar in our home office, April was supposed to be a fairly uneventful month. That's only because I didn't have the time to update it in March! We have managed to sail over halfway through the month without stopping to catch our breaths.

Hubs' parents came down for a few days to help us celebrate his birthday - it was so good to have them here. With us here and them in Michigan, we definitely don't get to spend enough time with them. On the Saturdaybefore they came down, we hosted a little cook-out/birthday party. We ended up with 8 adults and 7 kids (4 of them under the age of 2)- wild! Despite the cold, rainy weather, we all had a great time and were able to celebrate the birthdays of 6 of those present.

Easter was nice too. We have a huge potluck breakfast at our church between the early and late services which was fantastic. Hubs and I then head to Des Moines. We had a visitation to attend late that afternoon and decided to make a day out of it. We had a late lunch and saw a movie. I was too enthused about seeing Meet the Robinson's but it was so precious. Hubs and I both cried. We don't buy many DVDs but will definitely be adding this one to our collection.

Hubs spent the past weekend in Michigan doing his fighting in the woods thing. He had fun and I was able to spend some time with friends around here. And now Hubs is sick. The poor guy had a 102 temp this morning. He is still not doing great and is crashed on the couch.

And now almost another month has passed us by. Kind of amazing when I stop to think about it.

Oh yeah, a huge shout out to the Big Guy - LOVE the weather! This week is one of those that I seriously LOVE my job more than I can ever imagine. Tomorrow I am heading up a group of 26 high school students and 11 adults and we're going to do a snapshot on the watershed. (Our event is not listed on the upcoming events since it's not open to the public.) It's supposed to be in the high 60s and sunny and I'm getting paid to spend the day outside! Can life get any better!

Hope you all have a great week!

A Tuesday Funny
